Birds of Bolivia

Identification, distribution, and ecology of birds in Bolivia

Welcome to Birds of Bolivia

Birds of Bolivia is intended as an information resource for ornithologists, birders, conservation biologists, and natural resource managers interested in the identification, distribution, and ecology of birds in this megadiverse country. With over 1430 species recorded to date, Bolivia is the sixth richest nation in the world for bird diversity. Work on the first-ever field guide to the birds of Bolivia is in its final stages, and the book is expected to be available by April 2016. Please visit http://birds-of-bolivia.org for additional information on this publication.
